The track is rated Good for racing today at Flemington, with mainly fine conditions forecast for the weekend. The rail is out 13 metres which will make it harder for those racing worse than midfield, especially in short and middle distance races. Inside barriers will be an advantage in most races, except those run down the straight where they are likely to use both the inside and outside rails.
